No provider picker, no endpoint URLs, no account to create inside the app. The only credential CoWork holds is a TokenKey key, made for this machine when you sign in or pasted from the console.

Register at tokenkey.in as just you or through your organisation's page, get approved, and create a key in the console. It starts with tk_live_ and is shown once.

Works with your files
Point CoWork at a folder and it can read, write and edit the files in it, and run commands there: draft the document, tidy the spreadsheet export, rename the batch. You see every step and can stop at any time.
Multi-step tasks, not one-shot answers
Give it a job with several parts and it works through them, calling tools as it goes and reporting back. Answers stream token by token on the tier TokenKey routes to.
Sessions kept on your machine
Every conversation and its history live on your disk. Reopen a session later and continue where it left off. Nothing is uploaded to a CoWork server, because there is none.
Sign in with TokenKey
Click once, sign in at tokenkey.in in your browser, and CoWork receives a key made for this machine. Your organisation’s administrator can switch you off from the console. Pasting a key stays available.
Extensions, off until you want them
Scheduling, sub-agents, app building and code analysis ship switched off so a plain message costs only its own tokens. Turn any of them on in Settings when a task needs it.
Voice dictation
Push-to-talk dictation for the composer, so a long brief does not have to be typed.

Getting a TokenKey key
CoWork never bypasses TokenKey's approval flow. That is the point: nothing unvetted reaches inference, and an organisation controls who joins it.

Register
On tokenkey.in choose Just me for a personal workspace, or My organisation to set one up. Members of an existing organisation register through its own page, tokenkey.in/<name>.

Get approved
A TokenKey admin reviews individuals and new organisations. An organisation’s own administrator approves its members, or invites them by email so they skip the queue.

Create an API key
In the console, create a key. It is shown exactly once — copy it then. An organisation admin can also create keys for members. Revoke and re-issue any time.

Open CoWork
Paste the key on first launch and you are working: no endpoint URLs, no provider picker. The next release signs you in from the app through tokenkey.in instead, so the key never has to be copied.

Do I need a TokenKey account?
Yes. CoWork does not bundle or issue keys and has no free tier. Register on tokenkey.in as just you, or through your organisation’s page as a member; once approved, sign in from CoWork or create a key in the console and paste it.
What does it cost?
CoWork is the client; inference is metered by TokenKey on your key, and shows on your usage page beside anything else you do with that key. TokenKey pricing is not yet published. Contact us for institutional terms.
Can I use OpenAI, Anthropic or another provider?
No. CoWork is preconfigured for TokenKey only, and that single-endpoint design is what makes the privacy claim provable: there is exactly one place your text can go.
Is it a coding IDE?
No, but it does more than chat. It can read, write and edit files in a folder you choose and run commands there, which is what lets it finish a task instead of describing one. Extensions for scheduling, sub-agents and app building exist and ship switched off.
Is there a browser version?
Yes. CoWork Web runs the same workspace in a browser with nothing to install. Sign in to the TokenKey console and open it from the sidebar; your organisation decides who has it. Desktop and web conversations are not synchronised yet.
What is it built on?
A fork of goose, the Apache-2.0 AI agent (Rust backend, Electron desktop), with every provider except TokenKey removed, telemetry off, and the default extension set trimmed so a first message costs a fraction of what it did upstream.
